What LCSW and LMSW mean

Both are New York State social work licenses. An LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) holds the clinical license, which Lola has.

An LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) is the master's-level license, which Kara and Dori hold. The state sets out these rules on the New York State Office of the Professions site.
